What Would YOU Do?
In this part of the site I will write out various scenarios of things that could happen to you as a Christian. Just because we follow Jesus doesn't mean that hard times won't come our way, but we do have God to help us through those testing times. Ways you guys can help out is write down the Scenario number (#1, etc) and then tell me what you think the person should do.

Scenario #1
Jennifer's best friend, Ash, has just told her that she had sex with a boy from their school. Jennifer feels strongly that God doesn't tolerate people who call themselves Christians going out and doing things worse than some non-Christians do. She loves her best friend and cares about her, but at the same time she doesn't like what shes done all the while knowing what God says in the Bible. When she talks to Ash, what should she say? How should she approach her best friend?
Scenario #2
Bailey's mother and father have just told her that they're getting a divorce. They said that although they've been married fourteen years, they don't feel in love anymore. Bailey is clearly torn up about whats happened, and when her parents ask her who she'd like to live with when, she blows up and needs some space. Who can Bailey talk to? How can she live without both of her parents together? What should she do?
Scenario #3
Alex and his parents just moved to a new town. He doesn't know anyone, and when he goes to school the bully seems intent on making his life miserable. He wants to tell his parents or someone, but the bully threatened that he'd hurt him even more if he did. What should he do?
Scenario #4
Theres a new boy, Josh, at school, and Jana made him feel welcome by inviting him to sit at her and her friends table at lunch. They get talking and after school she invites him back to her house to hang out. Her mother is home and she seems to like him. But once Josh's gone home, Jana's mother says that she doesn't like the vibes that she gets from that boy, that he doesn't seem like such a nice boy, and she asks Jana not to hang out with Josh. What should Jana do? And when she sees Josh next, what should she say?
Scenario #5
Ashley and her friend, Sophie, head down to the beach like they do every other day. But this time they've got another reason for going: they're on the look out for some more friends. This holidays they haven't made anymore friends, and they're a little disappointed. Because the beach is not too far from their houses, they always walk there. On the way they see a bunch of guys drive past quite quickly in a fast car. They don't think much of it, and carry on talking. A couple of minutes later the car comes back down the road and stops beside them. "Do you need a lift?" a good looking teenage boy asks, who is the driver. Ashley and Sophie look at each other, unsure of what to do. Ashley knows that its probably not such a good idea, but both she and Sophie really want to make some friends. What should they do?
Scenario #6
Jason and Bethany have been friends for over six years now. He has started to feel something for her over the last couple of months, something that goes further than friendship. Hes thinking about asking her out, even though he knows that their friendship may be ruined if they break up. But then Bethany gets a boyfriend, and hes a real loser, in Jason's eyes. Hes sure that its not jealousy, because hes known the guy for a little while and has seen how he treats girls. Should Jason risk his and Bethany's friendship at the moment and tell her the truth? Or will it look like hes jealous and put their friendship at risk? What should he do?
Scenario #7
Your pastor talks about a mission trip that the church youth group is doing to a jungle in the Amazon and you really feel to go over there. You've been feeling that God's calling you to do something along the lines of mission work. But the mission trip is to a dangerous part of America and you'll have to get vaccinations. Plus the part has been known for rebels. You may not come back from this mission alive, or you may be very sick. You feel God's calling you strongly to go though. Will you go and risk your life for telling the natives about Jesus, or will you stay back home and continue telling people about God where they have more access to God than the natives of the Amazon? What would you do?
FEEDBACK:
Olivia S:
I think that I would pray to God and ask him if this was the right mission trip for me. If he said yes then I would go on the trip because I know God will do whats good for me there. If God says that this isnt the trip for me I would ask the pastor when the next opportunity to go on a mission trip is.
